I didn’t come to this work through theory. I came to it through real life.

I’ve had seasons where everything looked “fine” from the outside while I was fighting battles privately, including an eating disorder that taught me how easy it is to perform strength without actually feeling stable.

Then cancer changed the pace of my life. Treatment demanded discipline, resilience, and decisions I never expected to make. And when the dust settled, the financial impact became impossible to ignore. In 2018, I filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, not because I was done, but because I needed a structured plan to protect my home and rebuild with intention.

That chapter didn’t break me. It clarified me.

It showed me something I can’t unsee now: most financial stress isn’t caused by a lack of income. It’s caused by fragility. It’s what happens when life hits and there’s no structure to absorb the impact.

That’s why I do what I do today. I help high-earning families build financial operating systems that create stability, ownership, and generational capability.
